Spring is here for Louisiana and it is a time to take a walk on the wild side and look at all the new life springing forth. One of my favorites here in my yard is the little wild violets that seem to come up every year even when we till up the soil and weed (always) still the next year here they are again.
This year they seem to be here in larger numbers maybe the warmer winter? Sme of them seemed to have potted themselves in one of my pots. The plant that was in it died during the hard freeze so the little plant just took over.
What gets me the most is the fact that someone looked at these wild beauty’s and found away to make them bigger, added more colors and changed the shape of the leaves. These little things have pretty almond shaped leaves.
